Long story short i have an intex seahawk 4 inflatable boat and i ve long wanted to build a diy hard floor to add some much needed stability. Kayaks are small but not very 4 year old friendly. I bought this boat as an upgrade from my intex seahwak ii. The kit lets you attach up to a 3 5 horsepower motor to the rear of your intex boat so you can rest your paddling arms and float in. I have made a plywood floor which makes the boat feel even more stable in the water.

The boat handles a whole lot better than the seahawk ii due to the inflatable keel.
